Safety and Health Management
ESL’s primary responsibility is to promote a safe and healthy workplace by implementing effective systems to prevent occupational diseases and accidents, ill health, and damage to property to reduce the cost of production and improve productivity. We have a team of qualified safety and health advisers registered by the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS), Under the Ministry of Labour.
Earthcare Services tackles safety and health issues for workplaces as required by the Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) Act, 2007:
- Health and safety auditing
Earthcare Services Limited provides professional health and safety auditing to help organizations comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), 2007 and other regulatory requirements. Conducted by our DOSHS-registered advisers, these audits systematically assess workplace practices, identify hazards, and evaluate the effectiveness of safety systems. The process ensures early detection of risks, enhances employee wellbeing, protects assets, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement, ultimately reducing operational costs and improving overall productivity.
- Medical examination of workers
We conduct thorough medical examinations to evaluate how workplace conditions affect employee health. These assessments identify links between occupational diseases and the work environment, enabling early detection of risks and swift intervention. Based on the results, we recommend practical remedial measures that improve employee wellbeing, ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), 2007, and strengthen overall workplace productivity.
- Monitoring the activities of safety and health committees at the workplace.
We provide monitoring of workplace safety and health committees as a dedicated service to help organizations maintain effective occupational safety practices. This service involves overseeing committee activities to ensure hazards are identified, incidents are investigated, and preventive measures are implemented efficiently. It also includes tracking compliance with legal and regulatory standards, following up on recommended actions, and supporting employee training and awareness programs. By offering this service, we help organizations reduce workplace risks, enhance employee well-being, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Health and safety Trainings
The training is carried out as outlined in the safety and health committee rules curriculum issued by the DOSHS. This course is designated to impart crucial knowledge to health & safety committee members to enable them to understand and interpret health & safety laws and regulations in conformity with the Safety and Health Committee Rules as per legal notice (LN) No. 31, of 2004.
